Looks like Brad Bird could be hanging out with JJ Abrams too much, because he took to Twitter to tease his newest project as director, with a script written by Damon Linedlof (Prometheus, Lost) and George Clooney attached to star, sci fi film 1952, but, like Abrams, his tease didn't give anything away, just making us ask more questions.
Showing the contents of what is dubbed the '1952 box', which apparently contain the seeds that inspired Lindelof to write his script, what is apprent off the bat is there is quite alot of pictures of Walt Disney. With Bird adamant that this is a sci-fi film, could we see a fictional Walt Disney go up against aliens or some futuristic technology, with Clooney playing the architect of the House Of Mouse? Would certainly make for a unique movie.
One theory, put forward by Aint It Cool, points to an issue of Amazing Stories, which is the first appearance of classic space bound hero Buck Rogers, and speculates that a Buck Rogers movie could be on the cards. There has been a lot of speculation on the project since it's announcement. At one point it went under the working title Tesla, making people it was a movie about Russian scientist Nikolai Tesla, a man so bad ass he is reported to have built his own death ray. There is no doubt the speculation will continue until we get some concrete information on the project
