Robert Rodriguez's sequel Sin City: A Dame To Kill For has been recently getting it's cast together, with newcomers Josh Brolin, Ray Liotta, Dennis Haysbert, Juno Temple, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt joining returning players Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, and Jamie King. Now another cast member has been announced, with Bruce Willis returning as Hartigan, probably the only good cop in Basin City. No word yet on how his return fits into the movie, which is split into several different stories, some of which take place before the first movie.
Speaking to MTV, Rodriguez also spilt the beans on Gordon-Levitt's character, Johnny, describing him as "a gambler, a very cocky gambler, who comes in and tries to beat the biggest villain in Sin City at his own game. The story's called 'The Long, Bad Night'. He beats the wrong guy in a game and bad stuff happens to him". He also revealed that the movie will be presented in 3D, promising something we haven't seen before. Considering how stylised the first movie was, adding 3D effects to this should give us something very unique.
Released: October 4th 2014 (U.S)/ ? (U.K./IRL)
