Production has begun on Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, and it has just been announced that the director, along with co-director Frank Miller, creator of the comic series the movie is based, have found their titular dame. Eva Green has been cast as femme fatale Ava Lord, described by Miller as "every man's most glorious dream come true, she's also every man's darkest nightmares", who spells trouble for Josh Brolin's Dwight. Considering some of Green's roles in the past, she seems a perfect fit.
Sin City: A Dame to Kill for weaves in two of Miller's classic stories with new tales set in the dark heart of Basin City. Green joins the all star cast, which also includes Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson, Jeremy Piven, Juno Temple, and Jessica Alba.
