Every new Pixar movie is an event for me, but what makes them even more special is the short movie they play before each one. You can see the animators evolve with each short, as they try out new styles and technology. Now we have our first look at The Blue Umbrella, which will play in front of Monsters University. Using photo realistic imagery, it tells the story of a blue umbrella who falls in love amidst the hustle and bustle of a rainy city. Damn you Pixar! You've made my heart melt again.
