Most pub crawls turn out to be messy affairs, but probably not as messy as the one at the heart of Edgar Wright's The World's End (the much anticpated final part of his, Simon Pegg's and Nick Frost's Cornetto trilogy) which throws the apocalypse at a group of friends trying to relive an epic session from their youth. Empire have given us a new look at the film, the first showing the friends, comprising of Frost, Pegg, Martin Freeman, Paddy Considine, and Eddie Marsen, in the middle of some heavy drinking, and the second showing Pegg in what is bound to be serious trouble. This second picture is our first tease of the possible sci-fi element of the film. Seeing as the other two films were named after the different colours of Cornetto's, red for blood (Shaun Of The Dead), blue for the boys in blue (Hot Fuzz), all they are left with is green. That's gotta mean aliens, right?
