The Raid (or The Raid: Redemption) ended up in alot of Top 5’s of 2012 and it was certainly the action movie of the last few years. Thankfully a sequel is on the cards (and potentially a third movie as well) and it’s about to start shooting in less than 3 weeks. Coming direct from the horses mouth, Gareth Evans on twitter, the director says
“Ok Raid 2 tidbit, we start shooting on January 19th and the first scene takes place 2hrs after the first film ends.”
Which as you can imagine is epically good news!!! The original movie was simply mind-blowing and the bar has been set incredibly high, but we’ve got our fingers and toes crossed for something that will be at least as good! Come on Gareth Evans!!!!
