Iron Man 3 writer, Drew Pearce has been talking about Iron Man 3 and one scene in particular which takes some influence from Steven Spielberg’s films. A scene in the trailer which sees Stark battered and broken in a snowy field sees our superhero (minor spoiler here) break into a deserted garage, only to be startled by a 10 year old kid, Harley (Ty Simpkins). “We loved the idea of doing something classically Spielbergian – a kid finds a superhero in a shed”. Pearce goes onto say that “Their relationship is not something that you would traditionally see in Spielberg though; it’s bawdier, more fractious”

Iron Man 3 arrives on Irish and UK cinema screens on April 26th and hits American theaters on May 3rd
