Walking Dead fans will recognise David Morrissey in this new clip from Welcome To The Punch that has just arrived courtesy of Momentum Pictures. Besides Morrissey, Mark Strong, James McAvoy and Andrea Risebourgh all star in this London based cop thriller. It’s the second feature for director Eran Creevy who also has written the script. He also wrote and directed the rather excellent Shifty. And while you can’t tell much from the clip, McAvoy is always a good watch no matter what he’s in. It’s remains to be seen whether or not Morrissey will utilise a few Walkers in the movie.

Synopsis: Momentum Pictures will release WELCOME TO THE PUNCH, the new action thriller from director Eran Creevy (Shifty) and Executive Producer Ridley Scott, on March 15th 2013. Ex-criminal Jacob Sternwood (Mark Strong) is forced to return to London when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. This gives his nemesis, detective Max Lewinsky (James McAvoy), one last chance to catch the man he’s always been after.
