Filming begins on the X-Men: First Class sequel in April, and director Bryan Singer is putting the final touches to his massive cast (which mixes in the cast from First Class with those from the original trilogy). Taking to Twitter, Singer has announced the newest addition, Peter Dinklange, known to just about everyone as fan favorite (and with good reason) Tyrion Lannister from t.v.'s Game Of Thrones. He is the first actor so far not to have a role in a X-Men movie, so there is no word on the character he will be playing, but my money is on Puck, the diminutive member of Canadian mutant team, Alpha Flight.
The film will be shot in 3D, with production expected to wrap in October. The film will be set in the 1970's, and concerns a mutant travelling back in time to prevent their dark future from coming to pass.
