We're a week out from Sam Raimi's vision of the magical land of Oz, and Disney have dropped a final trailer for Oz The Great And Powerful (with a HD version available at Apple). I'm really looking forward to this. It's perfect for Raimi, promising some crazy, in your face visuals (exhibit A: 0:20, with the flying monkey bursting through the mist), mixed in with some good, family friendly fun (well, a slight bit darker than your usual family friendly fare).
Synopsis: When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (James Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well.
