I’ve said it time and time again, Kick-Ass is one of my favourite movies of all time and I relished every, insane page of Kick-Ass 2: Balls To The Wall. It’s off the charts. Sadly, I’m not feeling the love for Kick-Ass 2. I fear it’s going to be a severely watered down version of Mark Millar’s comic. It’s just a hunch I’ve got. I’m basing it on nothing but the trailers, which is probably unfair but these trailers for the sequel have nothing in common with the original trailer which was a complete breath of fresh air. They seem lacking in attitude. But, I’ll hold off final judgement until the movie arrives. Granted, Jim Carrey seems to be the only saving grace for me at the moment!
Anyway, the international trailer has arrived and is focusing mainly on Mindy / Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) and is quite tame. No doubt another red-band trailer shall arrive in due course. Take a look for yourself and let us know what you think!
Synopsis: The costumed high-school hero Kick-Ass joins with a group of normal citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume. Meanwhile, the Red Mist plots an act of revenge that will affect everyone Kick-Ass knows.
