Pilgrim Hill is the feature debut from Gerard Barrett who recently picked up the IFTA for Rising Star. While I haven’t seen the movie yet, this looks like a poignant piece of Irish cinema, that will touch alot of cinema goers. The movie goes on nationwide release on April 12th, and follows the story of a farmer in rural Ireland, where life is passing him by and loneliness, isolation and a herd of cattle seem to be his only friends.
