On a wet and miserable Thursday afternoon here in the land of sheep, cows and pints we have some rather good news from the folks at Paramount. STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS will now be released in Irish cinemas one week earlier than previously announced; you will now be able to see it in IMAX 3D, 3D and 2D cinemas on May 9th, 2013! I’m not sure why we’re getting it a week before the UK or the USA, but I ain’t complaining as J.J. Abrams sequel looks absolutely spectacular!
