The first poster for the Noam Murro's 300: Rise Of An Empire has dropped, courtesy of producer, and the originals director, Zack Snyder and his Twitter account. It's what you would expect from a sequel to 300, moody men who have spent way to much time on an ab trainer, but it feels a lot more ominious than the super saturated advertising of the original, and has done it's job of pique my interest.
Synopsis: This new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield—on the sea—as Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war. 300: Rise Of An Empire pits Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces led by mortal-turned-god Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), and Artemesia (Eva Green), vengeful commander of the Persian navy.
Released: 2nd August
