It already has it's April O'Neil and it's Turtles, and now producer Michael Bay and director Jonathan Liebesman have filled another role for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, Ninja Turtles. Danny Woodburn (Mirror, Mirror, Watchmen) has been cast as Master Splinter, mentor to the heros in a half shell, who will no doubt be brought to life by motion capture the same way as the titular heroes. There has been a lot of speculation on whether reports that the Turtles' origins have been changed to make them aliens for this new version are true, so that puts into question whether Splinter will be the humanoid rat we all know and love, or something a bit different. Time will tell.
