Michael Bay has released a pic of a completely upgraded and custom-built Optimus Prime, which is not only rocking a new paint scheme but a complete redesign as well. Considering the world we live in, surrounded by rounded, bevelled and smooth looking smartphones, this incarnation of Prime is probably more fitting into a modern day society than ever before. The design has probably got nothing to do with that notion, but none the less, its smoother look is easier on the eye and I’d imagine the robots themselves will be equally rounded. In more ways than one!
Paramount Pictures will release the film on June 27th, 2014.
