A couple of weeks back at Cinemacon in Las Vegas (basically a convention for cinema owners), an exclusive trailer for James Mangold's The Wolverine. Now that trailer has been made available to the rest of us. The focus here is on the action, good luck discerning any story (literally no one speaks). Some of this looks really good (especially the shot of Wolverine under attack from an army of ninjas), but I do find myself a little underwhelmed. Hopefully The Wolverine brings the goods later this Summer.
Synopsis: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, “The Wolverine” finds Logan (Hugh Jackman), the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
