Happy Birthday to us, happy birthday to us….and so on. Your favourite movie website (we’re presuming it is) hits the ripe old age of 4 years old today. Finally we're toilet trained (just about) and have stopped drawing on the walls. On a serious note (here comes the yawn fest)….little did I think 4 years ago that a single test post would turn into this. 4776 articles (as of typing this), millions of page views, award nominations and large electric bills, we’re still here. Which I guess isn’t bad for a bunch of movie loving lunatics from Ireland.
On a genuine note of sincerity, I’ve been fortunate enough and lucky enough to have a great crew of writers on the site past and of course present. There’s been many movie orientated road trips, shitty fast food and decent buritos and long may they continue. So to all our crew past & present, thanks a million. And to all our studio friends in Ireland and abroad including Disney, Marvel, Universal, Warner Bros., Paramount, Element, Eclipse, Fox and Sony as well as the multitude of worldwide PR companies and their polite and understanding reps, thank you all for the support, the interviews, the competition swag and being so incredibly accommodating. Anyway, that’s enough of the yawn festival (someone was about to start the violins) but before we shut down this article (you mean you’ve read this far?) the biggest thank you goes out to YOU! Yes, YOU! You beautiful person, who stops by on a regular basis to read the meanderings, get the gossip and maybe blag a prize or two! Even though we don’t say it enough (and it’d look like crap at the end of every post) THANK YOU! We do like it when you stop by!
