We all know him as Kick-Ass, probably the world's worst super hero, but if Marvel Studio's have their way, Aaron Taylor-Johnson might be playing a hero with a bit more prestige. The studio are currently courting the actor to play super fast Quicksilver in 2015's The Avengers 2. there is no word on who will be playing his twin sister The Scarlet Witch, also confirmed for the movie, but word has leaked that Saorise Ronan was Joss Whedon's 'model' for the character when writing the script.
If Taylor-Johnson agrees, he won't be the only actor playing the speedster on the big screen, with, thanks to Fox and Marvel studios both owning the rights to the character due to his appearing in both X-Men and The Avengers comics, actor Evan Peters cast as Quicksilver in next years X-Men: Days of Future Past.
