James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy has been going overboard with casting lately, with an eclectic group of actors, includng Chris Pratt, Micheal Rooker, Lee Pace, Zoe Saldana, and Glenn Close, already on board. Now they are joined by Benicio Del Toro in an unspecified role, which will lead to further roles within in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, the standard deal when it comes to Marvel movies it seems. Who he will be palying is anybody guess (for a property not many people know about, Marvel are being awfully secretive about it. Makes you think they have something up their sleeve), with popular theory being that he will play Thanos, the cosmic villain shown during the end credits of The Avengers. While I won't rule it out, Marvel's plan always seemed to include Thanos, so keeping the casting secret comes across as a bit odd. Personally, I hope he is doing the vocie of Rocket Raccoon, the gun toting, talking woodland creature member as the Guardians. That would be just awesome!!!
