As promised, here’s another snippet from our exclusive interview with Marco Beltrami about scoring World War Z, that interview in it’s extended entirety goes live next Monday, and is NOT to be missed. Towards the end of the epic chat with Marco, I asked him about scoring another movie, he's working on, The Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman. In the 2 minute clip, Beltrami speaks about the usage of a harmonica (something you wouldn't normally associate with a super hero movie) in the score, how the movie is different to the ordinary superhero movie as lots more.
Synopsis: Based on the celebrated comic book arc, “The Wolverine” finds Logan (Hugh Jackman), the eternal warrior and outsider, in Japan. There, samurai steel will clash with adamantium claw as Logan confronts a mysterious figure from his past in an epic battle that will leave him forever changed.
