It's all go the modern day adaption of the classic musical Annie, with Sandra Bullock in talks to take the role of Miss Hattigan, the head of the orphanage the titular orphan calls home. If she agrees, she will be joining Quvenzhane Wallis (Beast of the Southern Wild) as Annie, and Jamie Foxx as Daddy Warbucks, the millionaire who takes her in. Working from a script by Emma Thompson, with a polish from The Devil Wears Prada writer Aline Brosh McKenna, John Gluck directs, while Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Jay Z are all on board as producers.
Annie is set for release on 25th December 2014
