Neil Blomkamp's Elysium is doing what every great sci-fi concept does, putting a fantastical spin on real world concerns and problems. In this case the ever increasing class divide, depicting a future where the 99% live on a ruined Earth, while the 1% live a perfect life on Elysium, a space station orbiting Earth. Couple this great story with a great cast, including Matt Damon, Sharlto Copely, and Jodie Foster, and awesome production design, everything adds up to another triumph from the director of District 9. The below clip puts the focus on these two elements, with Damon nearly coming to blows with a robot very reminiscent of the original Total Recall's Jonny Cab.
