*** UPDATE***
This great trailer has been pulled by Fox (no idea why). So, as soon as possible we'll have a new embed online.
*****
The fourth directorial effort (after The Cable Guy, Zoolander, and Tropic Thunder) from Ben Stiller, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty seems to be something a lot different than what we would expect from the funny man. Based on the 1947 film of the same name, Stiller stars as a quiet, withdrawn magazine proofreader who retreats into a fantasy world where he is his polar opposite as an effort to deal with real life. But with his job threatened, he is forced into a real life adventure.
I find this trailer to be absolutely fantastic. Simply told, fantastically shot, capturing the tone of the movie spectacularly. I have a feeling this is going to be a very special movie. It's early days yet, but already talk of this cleaning up come awards time. If this trailer is anything to go by, I wouldn't be surprised.
The film also stars Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott, Patton Oswalt, Shirley McClaine, and Sean Penn.
Released: 25th December (U.S.)/ 26th December (U.K./IRL)
