Hot on the heels of the news that Bruce Willis is out, and Harrison Ford is in for The Expendables 3, the movie has now added another action great, with Mel Gibson (long rumoured with the project) taking on the role of the movies big bad. Looks like playing a villain in the upcoming Machete Kills agreed with him. Also announced to be joining the project is Gibson's co-star from that movie, Antonio Banderas, in an unspecified role.
Gibson and Banderas will join the already announced Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kellan Lutz, Victor Ortiz, and Ronda Rousey for the Patrick Hughes directed action sequel which begins production in the coming weeks.
