The Irish independent film scene continues unabated, with a unique new horror coming our way from production company Crooked Creations. Limp. is a new independent abstract horror which has just completed post-production and is now currently being entered into film festivals worldwide.
Limp follows Mr Grott (played by Eoin Quinn) a lonely man who is so infatuated by a woman (played by Anne Gill) that he goes to extreme lengths to be with her. Unfortunately the woman is dead. Now Mr Grott lives out his dream of having someone to love and be loved in a chaotic and disorientating world. All of this however cannot last and ultimately no good can come from this relationship.
Limp. was written and directed by Shaun Ryan, and produced by both Shaun Ryan & Kevin Minogue from their independent production company Crooked Creations. This micro budget film was made for the sum of €900 and privately financed by Shaun and Kevin with cast and crew donating their time to the project for free. Kevin also worked as director of photography on the project and worked as editor alongside Shaun collaborating with the films visual style. The film itself has been in post-production for 2 years, with Shaun and Kevin working tirelessly on the edit. The look of the film has been a real testament owed to the long time in post-production as the two men from Crooked Creations had set out to make something not only was a new and challenging story, but also a visual experience that you wouldn't have seen before.
Other areas which were donated as part of the project were and original soundtrack by American composer and musician Chris Zabriskie and sound mix by Vinny Casey of Bold Puppy.
The guys from limp are now looking for their premiere screening as they enter the film to festivals around the globe.
