The adaption of E.L. James' best selling Fifty Shades of Grey took a hit a couple of weeks ago, with Charlie Humman dropping out of the pivitol role of Christian Grey. Official sources cited Humman's "immersive TV schedule", though rumours have now surfaced that it was due to battles over a rewrite (Closer scribe Patrick Marber was brought into polish the script after Humman's departure), and the actor's own doubts about the character. But the production has bounced back, with Jamie Dornan (Marie Antoinette, Once Upon A Time. He was also an underwear model, so that'll come in handy) signing on to go into the Red Room of Pain with Dakota Johnson's Anastasia.
With all the problems the production has faced in the last few weeks, it's start date to roll cameras of November is looking unlikely, which I feel will put it's August 2014 release date back even further. It does smell a bit like a cash in, and I foresee numerous other problems arising before the movie hits the big screen.
