Based on the classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the upcoming, 3D animated Tarzan promises to be unlike any version of the apeman we have seen before, if this latest trailer is anything to go by. Set in modern day, it adds a sci-fi slant to the classic story, as well as giving us a quick shot of some Tarzan vs alien monster action. Throw in some dodgy facial animation in places, and this is going to be very..........interesting.
Starring Kellan Lutz (who with this and Hercules: The Legend Continues seems to be faring better than other supporting players post-Twilight. Could pick better roles though) and Spencer Locke, Tarzan hits our shores on the 2nd of May 2014. No word on a U.S. release as of yet.
