Before Ben Affleck dons the cowl for Superman vs. Batman, he'll hit the big screen with David Fincher's adaption of Gone Girl, the best selling mystery thriller from Gillian Flynn (who also provides the script for the movie). 20 Century Fox's Twitter feed has the first image from the movie, with Affleck as Nick Dunne, who finds himself the prime suspect after his wife (Rosamund Pike) goes missing on their fifth wedding anniversary. A suspenseful page turner that keeps you guessing with each plot twist, Gone Girl is a perfect fit for Fincher, and I can't wait to see what he does with it.
