Calvary with Brendan Gleeson bought at Sundance

Score! Here’s great news about a movie that we really can’t wait to see. Fox Searchlight have acquired the U.S. rights to John Michael McDonagh’s Calvary, starring Brendan Gleeson, Chris O’ Dowd, Dylan Moran, Pat Shortt, Aiden Gillen and a whole host of fantastic Irish talent. Fox Searchlight’s purchase also includes some International territories too. Calvary will be distributed in Ireland and the UK by eOne. Our American readers are in for an absolute treat when this hits American cinema screens later this year! On this side of the pond though, Calvary screens at the Jameson Dublin Film Festival on Feb 13th and if you can’t make that then you’ll have to hold on until April 11th
