O.K., with all the Star Wars casting rumours over the last few months, we should maybe take this with a pinch of salt until we hear anything concrete. Anyway, reports are doing the rounds that Adam Driver, best known for t.v. show Girls, is close to signing on the dotted line for Episode VII's main villain. The unnamed role, said to be similar to Darth Vader, was also linked to Michael Fassbender and Hugo Weaving, but apparently, Driver has beaten out all comers as JJ Abrams top choice.
Filming is set to begin on Star Wars: Episode VII shortly, with a release date locked in for December 18th 2015.
