Working from a script by herself and husband Ben Falcone (also making his directorial debut), Melissa McCarthy takes the title role in Tammy, playing a woman whose only hope after losing her car, job and husband is her grandmother, Pearl (Susan Sarandon), but the downside is Tammy has to take her on a road trip to Niagara Falls. The first trailer for the project has hit, with the actress putting on her usual schtick, and it is really McCarthy's show, with Sarandon and the other cast members, including Gary Cole, Allison Janney, Kathy Bates, and Dan Aykroyd, not getting much of a look in. Check it out below.
Released: 2nd July (U.S.)/ 4th July (IRL/U.K.)
