I’d hate to say that Batman vs Superman has been bogged down with a few problems in the past, but its true. And now, Jeremy Irons, speaking to Absolute Radio says that the script is not finished. "The script isn't entirely finished.I've read a script, but it's not finalised. We haven't started work yet. It'll be as much a surprise to me as you!"
While scripts are constantly being rewritten and many writers can be drafted (sorry) in for rewrites, this latest statement from Irons, is far from internet speculation and “insider” sources. What does it say about the movie? Well, personally, I think its in a spot of bother. Its quite obvious with the amount of characters that DC are shoving into this that they’ve obviously gone into a bit of melt down. Marvel has spent years cultivating their universe and their bank balance shows what happens when you do it right. DC and Warner are really trying hard here to play catch up, but given that they have the 2 biggest characters in comic book history, Batman and Superman, they shouldn’t have to try so hard.
