Coming from Easy A director Will Gluck, this new version of Annie puts a spin on the uplifting musical tale of the most famous red headed orphan in the world, with Quvenzhané Wallis taking on the lead role. Updated to the modern, this new trailer presents a very different feel that what we are used to, with Cameron Diaz's Miss Hannigan clearly relegated to pop culture spouting comic relief. But the inspirational music is in place (though with a bit more auto-tune than I would have liked), and Wallis has the right amount of charm to make this perfect Christmas viewing for the family (though we'll have to wait till February on this side of the pond).
