Bringing the classic t.v. show to the big screen, Denzel Washington certainly looks the part of black ops commando turned vigilante Thomas McCall in our first look, courtesy of USA Today, at Antoine Fuqua's The Equalizer. The R-rated action movie has already gotten good reactions from test audiences (apparently they were so good, a sequel has been put on the fast track), and these first images, which also features Chloe Grace Moretz, do give me a good feeling about it. Mainly down to Washington being able to play the ultimate bad ass with the best of them.

Synopsis: Denzel Washington plays a former black ops commando who faked his death for a quiet life in Boston. He comes out of his retirement to rescue a young girl, Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), and finds himself face to face with Russian gangsters.
