Based on the series of mystery novels by Lawrence Block, A Walk Among the Tombstones sees Liam Neeson as unlicensed private investigator Matt Scudder, a man who works outside the law to get the job done no matter how dirty it is, who bites off more than he can chew investigating the kidnap and murder of a wife of a drug trafficker. It may sound like your typical crime drama, but the below trailer promises a lot more. It is hauntingly beautiful (you can thank the fantastic cover of Soundgraden's Black Hole Sun for that), offering a glimpse at a much deeper story that seems to stretch Neeson's acting muscles more than his recent action movie efforts combined.
