X-Men: Days Of Future past is mutating all over the box office in the States, raking in a rather impressive $111 million across the weekend, which is a four day weekend considering today is Memorial Day. From an international point of view Days Of Future has grabbed $191 million and if you’re handy with a calculator that gives it a grand total of $302 million to date. Or to put it another way, it’s earned $2,436,483.97 per minute (of its running time). And with solid reviews and decent word of mouth, theres plenty of life left in this old Wolverine yet!
In comparison to Godzilla, which it knocked off the top spot, the giant lizard pulled in $39 million last weekend Stateside and including international markets has pulled in a whopping $323,393,000. Looks like the X-Men are about to become one of the few things to ever beat Godzilla into submission!
