Gerard Barret’s Glassland, starring Jack Reynor, Toni Collette and Will Poulter will have it’s World Premiere on July at the 26th Galway Film Fleadh. The movie tells the story of a young taxi driver (Reynor) who is forced to make a life changing decision as he tries to save his mother from addiction. Reynor’s “heat” is on the up, Poulter is rather excellent and Toni Colette is phenomenal. So a good cast then and Gerard Barrett’s debut film, Pilgrim Hill was a really impressive debut. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens with his second movie, especially considering there is a really great cast on board.
