There is not a day that goes by where someone isn’t typing up some article about possible plot details from Star Wars Episode VII. With few exceptions (this being one) we don’t really post these kinda rumours which range from the sublime to the ridiculous.
So the latest one to hit (courtesy of Making Star Wars) involves aHan Solo breaking has ankle after slipping on a pile of Taun-Taun shit. Hang on…
No, seriously, this is whats currently doing the rounds. The main bad guys in Episode VII will be known as Jedi Hunters, who are dressed in black (surprise, surprise) and on behalf of the Empire, they hunt down the Jedi. These Jedi Hunters use lightsabers and are joined by allies that are dressed in black and chrome and by all accounts they’re aren’t too dissimilar to Storm troopers. They worship the Sith (now the next part is rather interesting) and wish to resurrect them. So will Emperor Palpatine return for Episode VIII and attempt revenge and then Episode IX will have him finally killed off by some Skywalker spawn? Either way, it’s an interesting rumour and lets face it, the notion of Palpatine coming back, while a slight bit of a cop out if true, is rather awesome. If Paps is scheduled for a return, then another Sith Lord could be on the cards! I’m calling it right now, Return Of The Empire has to be episode VIII! Of course, these are all rumours at the moment, so besides the Taun-Taun poop, watch this space!
