If you stuck around for the end credits of X-Men: Days of Future Past, you would have gotten your first glimpse of Apocalypse, the big bad who lends his name to the title of the next X-Men installment. The movie isn't set for release till 2016, but work on the script has begun, and Bryan Singer has taken to Instagram to give us a look at the first page of the treatment for X-Men: Apocalypse. It doesn't give much away, with the only take aways being it kicks off with an epic battle in ancient Egypt, and we get our first look at the Four Horsemen, Apocalypse's own personal guard, pretty early on. Apocalypse is one of my favorite X-Men bad guys, one I've have been waiting to see on the big screen since the X-Men movie franchise began, and if the quality of the last two X-Men movies carries over, it will be the cinematic outing the villain deserves.
