Coming from director Chris Columbus, Pixels imagines some pretty out there concepts, such as aliens attacking Earth with strategies based on Pac-Man, Centipede, Space Invaders, and other classic arcade games from the 80's, and Kevin James as President of the United States. But with the plot revolving around a group of grown up arcade prodigies (Adam Sandler, Josh Gad, and Peter Dinklage) stepping up to fight this threat, it does promise to be a lot of fun, with the movie been said to be a homage to Ghostebusters and other 80's favorites. And I can't be the only one excited by the prospect of a giant Pac-Man wrecking shop? EW has the first image from the movie, featuring the 'Arcaders' ready for action, and Dinklage sporting one hell of a mullet.
