Holy shit, the first trailer for Kevin Smith’s Tusk debuted at Comic-Con and it looks pretty damn awesome. Inspired by a discussion on one of the directors 20 million podcasts. On Smodcast episode 259, Smith and producing partner Scott Mosier had an indepth discussion on an article that they spotted on Gumtree, where a homeowner was offering a living situation free of charge, if the lodger agrees to dress as a walrus.
Not only does this look like classic, couldn’t give a shit, horror movie making, but it also heralds the return of Haley Joel Osment, who while older and more filled it these days, looks like he never lost his acting chops! With Justin Long and Michael Parks also looking like their knocking this thing right out of the park, Tusk looks pretty damn awesome! There is a great feeling of pure psychotic insanity here and if the trailer is anything to go by, this one will leave a bit psychological tusk embedded into your skull!
