Surely there will be some Batman v Superman footage screened at Comic-Con this weekend. There has to be something right? 25 seconds? Anything! That wish aside, DC have released a new image of Ben Affleck as Batman. It comes from a montage wall that they have at the con, and yes, he still looks incredibly sad! Christ, it’s a depressing looking Batman.
I never liked the Frank Miller look for the caped crusader, and I just find it very hard to take something from this. My issue lies predominately with the ears, but look, that’s just me. You might like it right? As has been the norm with Batman v Superman photos (ok, we’ve just got the one previous to this) the lighting is poor. While that’s an decision made by the studio, it makes me wonder are they trying to hide something (like them friggin’ ears). So we’ve lightened it up a bit, but first, here’s the untouched image. And actually now that I look at it (again) in a large format it doesn’t seem as bad and looks like it’d make an awesome piece of wall art.
