Annabelle, the malevolent doll who proved to the most memorable part of The Conjuring, gets her own spin-off, hitting our screens just in time for Halloween, and Warner Bros. have unveiled the first trailer, which acts as the perfect taster of what the movie has in store, and proof that doll still have the power to scare the bejesus out of us. The Conjuring director James Wan acts as producer, but it easy to see his influence on the spin-off's own director, John R. Leonetti (director of photography on The Conjuring). The below teaser has a wonderful sense of tension and dread about it, and acts as a great introduction to Annabelle and the terrors she has in store for us.
