Oh Oh! Spidey fans are going to have to hang onto their webslingers for just a bit longer as Sony have announced a pretty big delay with The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Orginally, the movie was pencilled in for a June 10th 2016 release date, but now it’s been put nearly two whole years. The new release date for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 is now May 4th 2018.
No word on why there is a delay, it hadn’t even started shooting but it’s an interesting move none the less, but one that will anger and bewilder Spidey fans. This delay sound even more bizarre when you consider that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 raked in $706 MILLION worldwide. Personally, I loved the last movie, it was a refreshing change from the dark and grim look of Marc Webb’s first outing with Peter Parker.
So if you had booked a day off for June 10th 2016, you can still keep it as video game adaptation, Uncharted will take Spidey’s place!
