Fresh off its premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh, where it was nominated for the Bingham New Talent Award, Irish director Niall Heery's (Small Engine Repair) Gold has released a trailer, along with the news that Wildcard Distribution will released the movie into cinemas in the Autumn. With an impressive cast, including Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), James Nesbit (Bloody Sunday, The Hobbit trilogy), David Wilmot (Calvary), Kerry Condon (The Runway), Steven McKintosh (The Sweeny), David McSavage (The Savage Eye, Calvary), and Martin Maloney (The Hardy Bucks), Gold tells the sweet and funny tale of Ray (Wilmot) who, after twelve years away from them, tries to reconnect with his ex-girlfriend (Condon) and teenage daughter (Williams), who live with his former P.E. teacher (Nesbitt). Watch the trailer below, and I dare you to say you don't have a smile on your face.
