Warner Bros have not only moved Superman v Batman to March 25, 2016 but have announced a rather large slate of comic book movies to boot. A total of 9 DC comic book movies will arrive between 2016 and 2020. While we have no idea what they are, it’s almost a definite that a Justice League movie will be in there as well as a Batman movie, a Man Of Steel sequel and a Shazam movie being very likely. The release slate looks as follows.
August 5, 2016
June 23, 2017
November 17, 2017
March 23, 2018
July 27, 2018
April 5, 2019
June 14, 2019
April 3, 2020
June 19, 2020
And if you add in all the Marvel Studios release dates (like we have below) movie fans are in for a serious treat. However, with this many comic book movies coming at audiences thick and fast, it could quite quickly over saturate the market and herald the end of the genre.
