Zack Synder may be up to his eyeballs in destroying Gotham and Metropolis at the moment with Superman v Batman, but the director, on route to the set, called into Detroit radio station, 97.1 and started to defend Aqua man. When asked on air was he Zack Synder, he replied “Hey, it’s Zack, yeah. … Yeah, yeah I’m on my way to the set right now and I was listening to you guys on the radio.”
Snyder called in as he thought the hosts were disparaging Aqua Man and said Aquaman’s cool ability is that he could “cut the flesh of Superman if they came in contact … he’s super strong … It’s not to say that he’s in the movie or anything like that but … he has the potential to be bad ass.
Listen to the full clip below, which has been confirmed that the caller was indeed Zack Snyder. And no, he didn’t say whether or Aquaman was in the movie or not.
