Two Comic-Cons ago, Karen Gillan removed her long, ginger locks from her head, and whipped them into the crowd (a move she later regretted), showing she shaved her head playing Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy. A video of the event has come online, showing it was a relatively painless affair (with room for a quick Sinead O'Conner impression), but one she will have to do all over again, since it is heavily implied Nebula will show up for the sequel.
