A remake of the 1974 drama, starring James Cann, of the same name, The Gambler sees a rail thin Mark Wahlberg as a literature professor whose gambling addiction spirals out of control, threatening him and those around him. The first, fast paced NSFW trailer for the movie, directed by Rise of the Planet of the Apes' Rupert Wyatt, is pretty much a teaser, but gives us a perfect sense of the style and tone of the movie, and with it's punchy onslaught of images is one of the best trailers of 2014.
